I never ever blog, but like I say all the time I am trying to start back up again.
So I thought the best way to start was to change the name.
As I was thinking about names, I began to think about myself and these past few months.
Times have been though, times have been easy and I have been blessed beyond measures.
I have pushed myself so much more than I ever have this year, and without Jesus and people in my life pushing me, I couldn't have done it. I cant wait to see what my future holds, and to continue to move myself towards my dreams.
This year God has done an intervention on my life. He has opened my eyes to bigger things, he has opened my heart to love other more, and he has held my hand as I continued to put my trust and life in him.
I stress less, worry less and know that these worldly things cannot have control of our lives.
There are so many thing that try to get in the way of having pure joy, and if we let them they can take us down very quickly.
I used to do this, but this year when that happens, Jesus says to keep your head up. Nothing in this world can ever take us down, while we are pursuing a life worshiping him and all that he has done for us.
Remember this when tough things come up. know that if things don't worry out how you wanted them too, there is a purpose in that. and his plan is much bigger than ours!

How Jesus showed me how to be a better me
Everyone always wants to change. we look for anything that we can change about ourselves on a daily basis.
we get news hair cuts, because that automatically makes us feel like a new person.
we workout, so we can feel and look like a new person.
we get get good grades, so that we can show ourselves and others that we are a new person.
there are so many different ways we try to change ourselves day by day, but we need to start thinking about how to change the outside first, and these outside changes will come along with it.
The best way to do that is learn who we are in Jesus.
One of the reasons we try to change the outside, is because we don't feel good about ourselves on the inside.
Throughout this semester I have learned a lot about myself, and learned that if I want things to change, I need to trust in the Lord and know that the change I want will come from him. But we need to know that sometimes the change we want, is now what we will get but is best for us.
Jesus is the ultimate tool for anything we need in life.
He is always changing our lives, if we let him. and hey we really need too.
let him in. do not be afraid of what will happen, because when you do he is going to fully give your life light that you didn't see before.
once you know who you are in Jesus, those good grades will still come, and that workout will be easier because you will learn to love the body you have already because you are made in perfection in his eyes.

Worry, Fear and a whole lot of Jesus
Well the title is basically the only way I could describe my life right now. these three things have been what I have been thinking about non-stop.
So if you know me, you know I am a big worry wart. I cant help it. I worry about everything, and if there's nothing to worry about I will find something. That is so a terrible, I know. So Why worry? Why do I worry when I know that Jesus has already taken care of it?
Its because I am putting the situation into my own hands, and not his. Ladies and Gentlemen, we just cannot do this. You can try for a while, but I promise you its not going to work.
We must always put our worries and trust in Jesus. Always. It is the only way that we will overcome it. Also, worrying just causes us to make the situation worse, and drive ourselves crazy thinking about it. I have recently, began to make sure when anything goes wrong to pray about it. I pray about it over and over and give it all up to him. I know that no matter the outcome, it is going to be the best thing for me. Always know that even when the outcome isn't what you wanted it to be, Jesus is watching over you. He will not let something happen that is going to hurt you.
Fear kind of ties into the whole worry part. I have small fears and big fears. the Fear of the future and not being ready, the Fear that things wont go as planned, and the Fear of not being accepted by others for who I am. these are all examples of fears I have , as well as many other people.
If you let fear take over parts of your life, you need to put an end to that now.
Just like worry, we must let go of these fears and know Jesus is with us! The fears don't let us continue forward, but only bring us down. If you are too afraid to show who you really are, then you are hiding from yourself. Show the world who you are, and how Jesus works in your life. Show them how his love have changed you from who you used to be, even if it scares you.
The most important thing in fixing all of these problems is spending time with Jesus. even if worry and fear aren't something you deal with, whatever it is he is going to take care of it. Since school has started back, I have tried to take matters into my own hands and not give them to him, and I am struggling. I didn't spend quality time with him, and I realized that fixing my problems on my own wasn't going to work. Its not just Sunday mornings, or Wednesdays nights, its gotta be everyday. And yes we will fall and forget, but just because that happens doesn't mean he has forgotten you. He just cant. We are his sons and daughters and just like my pastor said. "Nothing we can do can make him love you more, and nothing we can do can make him love you less".
